With 40 years of combined military and civilian aviation experience totaling more than 13,000 flight hours, Mr. Doll brings unparalleled expertise and insight to aviation legal matters. Throughout his aviation career, he has achieved the rare distinction of having flown on all seven continents, including operations to the South Pole and the Arctic, demonstrating his expertise in the most challenging flying conditions worldwide.
His unique combination of extensive aviation experience, military leadership, and legal education provides clients with exceptional representation in aviation law matters, backed by real-world operational knowledge and command of the Federal Aviation Regulations.
Professional Experience
Mr. Doll currently serves as an A320 Captain with a major airline, where he has been a flight officer since 2000. His extensive civilian aviation experience spans 6,300 hours across multiple aircraft types including A320, A330, B767, B757, B727, L382, and various light aircraft.
His distinguished military career includes 6,700 flight hours in the C-17, LC-130H, C-130E/H, C-12F/J, C-26B, T-37, and T-38. Mr. Doll held numerous leadership positions, including Deputy Commander of Joint Task Force-Support Forces Antarctica, where he commanded all Department of Defense and Homeland Security personnel and assets supporting the U.S. Antarctic Program. He also served as Military Assistant to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Reserve Affairs at the Pentagon, providing strategic counsel on Air Reserve Component matters.
Mr. Doll’s inspiration to pursue a legal career developed during his Pentagon service, where he served as the primary advisor on matters affecting the Air Force’s reserve components, gaining deep insight into the intersection of aviation operations and regulatory frameworks.
